Growing up in the Netherlands, Roos Stallinga was surrounded by a large bicycle culture. She came to New York and kept biking as a means of transportation, exploration, and as a way to make New York feel like home.
In this book she has created 10 different bike routes around the city along with interviews, hand drawn maps and stories to give you the impression of what it feels like to ride in New York. She has numerous stops at local cafes, museums, and restaurants along with practical tips on how to bike safely in the city. This is her NYC bike story and she would love to hear yours!
